WE DON’T MAKE KALE SALAD

We don’t make kale salad! We don’t chase fads or whatever is the latest paint by numbers, business gimmick of the day.

Eddie Huang said it best when blogging about the Peter Luger review…

Every thing that has a singular confident identity anchored in local community and beliefs is being displaced by overly calculated/curated experiences that feel like algorithms trying to draw the greatest number of followers.

WE ARE WE

We are a DIY, bootstrapping, our own cash, blood, sweat, and tears company.

We are four guys in Western Massachusetts trying to build a cannabis business to protect local food security, and elevate our community.

It would be soul crushing for us to do anything other than what we do and how we do it. We just cannot do it differently. We believe what we believe and we do what we do.

WE ARE WE

We’re not “real”… we’re not “authentic”… we’re not “organic”… simply…

We pinch every penny; we wonder everyday if we will get to the starting line.

WE ARE WE

We argue with each other because we believe so much in what we are doing. Suehiko Ono rants about protecting the local farmer. With a battle tested mind, Travis Facenda fiercely defends the best way to protect and secure the public. Matt Vivrett boils when hearing about anything but sun and soil farming. John Song yammers for fundamentals and protecting the investor (WTF?). We all butt heads productively with force, because we are seasoned and sharp in each of our respective domains. But…

WE ARE WE

We are just ourselves. Respectful. Rough and Tumble. Honorable.
