EOS Lynx is the first EOS wallet that implements a user-friendly environment, combined with exclusive features, to function well for everyday use. Scatter is a multi-currency wallet, although it currently only supports EOS and Ethereum, but more chains will be added in the future.

Scatter is supported on more EOS-platforms than Lynx, and therefore allows you to interact with the EOS interface and platforms such as NewDex, an exchange that’s reaching between 2 — 3 million EOS weekly volume at the moment. However, you can’t interact with it unless you’re using Scatter. Scatter can be difficult to set up, except if you use Lynx to make your account, and then copy your key from Lynx to Scatter. Luckily, this is relatively simple to do, and these steps should guide you through the process.

Step One:

Download Lynx Wallet. This one should come as no surprise. It’s available on desktop, iOS and Android.

Step Two:

Once you’ve got your account setup, go to the top right hand corner and go to “Private Keys”.

Step Three (if you haven’t done it already):

Download the Scatter desktop app (unfortunately Scatter is not yet available on iOS and is only in its alpha stage on Android).

Step Four:

Set up your Scatter account, and then go to “Vault” at the top of the screen

Step Five:

Click “New” in the left hand corner, and Import your private keys from Lynx to Scatter.

Now you can interface with decentralized EOS services like Chintai! This really is just an easier way of using Scatter, and interact with EOS-based platforms at the same time.

You can download Scatter at https://github.com/GetScatter/ScatterDesktop/releases/, and Lynx at http://eoslynx.com/ or on your appstore.
