How To Create an EOS Account for EOSJacks!

Step 1. Creating your Key Pair in Scatter
To create your EOS account you will first need to install Scatter for Chrome, an identity, private data and authentication management solution. To do this, simply head over the to Scatter for Chrome page on the Chrome Web Store and click the Add to Chrome button.
Once Scatter has been installed, it should be present on the top right of your browser along with your other extensions.
Following this you will need to create a new Scatter, to do this, simply click the scatter icon and create a new account by typing in your desired password, before clicking create new scatter. After this, you will be presented with a 12 word mnemonic phrase, make sure you keep this in a safe place as you will need it to recover your Scatter account should you lose access.
Next you will need to create a key pair which will be used to create your EOS account later on. In the main menu of Scatter, click the Key Pairs button.
Now select new to begin the creation process. On this page select EOS, choose a suitable name you will remember (we chose EosDice001, but it can be anything) and then click generate key pair. Copy this key pair to somewhere safe, and click save to finalize your key pair.
Now that you have your key pair at hand, it is time to set up your EOS account.
Step 2. Setting Up your EOS Account
Because EOS Dice operates using the EOS main net, you will require an EOS account to play. For those not familiar with the EOS blockchain, EOS accounts are typically 12 characters long, and can contain the characters a-z and 1–5.
Of all the ways we tested, setting up your EOS azccount through the EOS Account Creator is by far the simplest process for new users. To get started with EOS Account Creator, simply visit the website and begin the process by clicking Get Started. Using the public key (from your key pair you created earlier), paste this into the Owner Public Key and Active Public Key field on EOS Account Creator and click Continue.
There is a small cost associated with opening an EOS account, EOS Account Creator lets you pay this cost using your Credit Card or a variety of cryptocurrencies such as BTC, EOS and ETH. Select the desired payment option and you will be redirected to the checkout page. As of writing, the cheapest method to create an account is using EOS (0.8 EOS = roughly $4.80). However for this example we will choose the Cryptocurrency option.
Once you have selected your payment option, you will be redirected to the timed checkout page, note that your payment must be received before the timer reaches zero otherwise you will need to complete the process again. Once you have finalized your payment, you will be provided with the details of your newly created EOS account. This EOS account will now be connected to the public key you created earlier.
Step 3. Linking Your EOS Account and Scatter Identity
Now that you have both your EOS account created and scatter installed, you will need to link your EOS account to a scatter identity. To do this, open Scatter and click the identity button, on the next page click new at the top right and scroll down to the account section.
Ensure that EOS Mainnet is selected for the top field, and select the keypair you created earlier for the bottom field before clicking Import.
On the next page, select the option that says @active on the end, and click Use Selected Account. Be sure to click the save button at the top to create your identity.
That’s it! You are now ready to log in to EOS dice!
Step 4. ROLLING TO MINE!
Creating your EOS account and linking it to scatter is the most difficult part of the journey. Congratulations on making it this far! In order to login to EOS Dice, simply click the Login button on the bottom right of the betting panel.
