November is a miracle month for EOSJacks Team, we had our ups and downs, but for the most of all, we now owns a great community that helps us improve day by day.
We are grateful for all our supporters and players, for being with us no only at our highs, but at our lows.
We are grateful. And I, Ben, DO mean it.
EOSJacks Team is so graaaaaaaaaaateful that he decided to halve the max supply of the JKR token.
Today we will reduce the max supply from 20 billion to 10 billion in our smart contract. The tokens will be GONE, forever.
Even more, with burning mechanism, we aim at 8.88 billion max_supply. Token distribution will still be 51% Community.
Original Max Supply 10 billion, Max Supply Target: 8.88 billion
Mining Curve change: In accordance to our halving of max supply, in order to maintain our current mining rate. We modified the parameters in the mining curve formula in order to decrease our mining difficulty, thus to increase the mining efficiency.
With current 0.88 billion released token, for the old formula we have
Difficulty = 0.05 * Ceiling(0.044 * 50, 1) = 3 * 0.05 = 0.15
Eff = 1/0.15 = 6.67
With the new formula, in order to maintain the same efficiency and difficulty.
Difficulty = 0.05 * Ceiling(0.088* 25,1) = 3* 0.05 = 0.15
Eff = 1/0.15 = 6.67
