The EOS Community Conference arrives in Rio!
The 2nd EOS Community Conference will take place between 15th and 18th of October in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil.

We are engineers, entrepreneurs, proxies, BPs, token holders, and above all, believers in the potential positive impact of blockchain on the lives of billions of people all over the world.
It is just amazing to see how a community scattered around the globe organizes to achieve so much. Telegram, WeChat , and Zoom are great to keep us connected. But there is nothing like having some of the greatest experts on DPoS and decentralized applications on the same place at the same time.
We experienced this for the first time after EOS Mainnet launch when the community came together for the EOS Community Conference in Seoul. The incredible events organized by the Korean BP Community — huge shout out to Node One and others — created an environment to foster serendipity and allowed for ideas and partnerships to flourish. Ever since, we had the chance to meet around the world in different events, making the community even stronger.
We understand the power of this community and the incredible things we can achieve together. That’s why we are proud to invite you to come together again for the 2nd EOS Community Conference, that will take place between 15th and 18th of October in Rio/Brazil!
We have planned a week of events and activities to provide everyone a memorable experience. Not only working to develop the EOSIO ecosystem, but also enjoying what Rio has to offer.
15/October
Rio Blockchain Conference (RBC)
On Tuesday, October 15th, Rio Blockchain Conference (RBC) will take place at Museu do Amanhã (the Museum of Tomorrow).
RBC is a blockchain agnostic event co-created in collaboration with Museu do Amanhã. The event theme is how decentralized applications are contributing to a sustainable and abundant future.
Open to the general public and free of charge, RBC will focus on making blockchain accessible to the masses. The event will promote an environment for cross-pollination between different blockchain communities and provide insights into the Latin American ecosystem.
Networking dinner
During the night, a networking dinner will be held for the EOS Community attendees and the local tech community. Guestlist includes dApp developers, investors, and entrepreneurs. The goal is to create an enjoyable atmosphere where everyone can have a good time while expanding the reach of the EOS community to a broader audience.

EOSIO Workshops for developers
On October 16th we will have EOSIO workshops for developers in the morning at Museu do Amanhã.
2nd EOS Community Conference (ECC)
In the afternoon, the 2nd EOS Community Conference (ECC) will take place. The community will be present in every detail, starting with the definition of the agenda. Following the steps of the 1st ECC, we will hold weekly calls open to the community to discuss the themes, dynamics, and speakers.

(Un)conference Discussion Day
On October 17th & 18th we will have the (un)conference for the EOS Community, which will happen at Rio Yacht Club, designed to have two moments.
On October 17th, will be the discussion day. The most pressing topics according to the community will be suggested, voted and discussed on the spot, in a model similar to Seoul 2018.

Building on the experience of Seoul, the organizers suggested a way to channel all the insights and energy of the first day to raise the evolution discussed. That’s why we decided to hold the second day of (Un)conference on October 18th, focused exclusively on building solutions to be pitched by the end of the event.

이오스 커뮤니티에는 블록체인이 전세계 수십 억 명의 삶을 바꿀 수 있음을 믿는 진정성과 능력을 겸비한 엔지니어, 기업가, 프록시, BP, 토큰홀더들로 구성된 훌륭한 커뮤니티 입니다.
세계 곳곳에 흩어져 있는 이들이 온라인 텔레그램, 위챗, 줌콜만 가지고 협력하여 지금껏 일구어 온 성취는 역시 놀라운 것이었습니다.
만약 이들이 한 자리에 모여 만난다면, 직접 얼굴을 맞대고 함께 앉아 일을 할 수 있다면 얼마나 더 엄청난 일들을 벌일 수 있을까요?
그런 일이 실제로 한 번 일어난 적이 있습니다. 다름아닌 지난 7월 서울에서 노드원의 주도로 개최된 이오스 커뮤니티 컨퍼런스를 통해서였죠. 이오스 커뮤니티 컨퍼런스는 노드원이 주축이 되어 한국 및 전세계 BP들이 합심하여 준비한 이벤트였습니다. 사람들이 모이니 사전에 기획된 바 없었던 수많은 많은 인연들이 이어졌고, 수없이 많은 파트너십이 맺어졌습니다.
우리는 이오스 커뮤니티 멤버 한 명 한 명이 가진 좋은 영향력과 의도가 모였을 때 함께 이룰 수 있는 것이 얼마나 큰지 잘 알고 있습니다.

리오 블록체인 컨퍼런스 (Rio Blockchain Conference, RBC)
10월 15일 화요일에는 리오 블록체인 컨퍼런스(RBC)가 뮤조 두 아마냐(Museum of Tomorrow)에서 개최될 예정입니다.
RBC는 뮤조 두 아마냐와의 콜라보를 통해 개최되는 이벤트로, 특정 암호화폐에만 주제를 국한시킴 없이 블록체인 일반을 다루는 컨퍼런스입니다. 주제는 “지속가능하고 풍요로운 미래를 위해 탈중앙화 어플리케이션이 기여할 수 있는 일들”입니다. 일반 대중의 블록체인에 대한 이해도를 높이기 위해 기획되었습니다.
행사는 리오 데 자네이루 시민 포함 일반 대중에게 무료로 공개될 예정입니다. 행사간에는 이상 주제 뿐만 아니라 서로 다른 블록체인 커뮤니티들이 상호간 시너지를 낼 수 있는 방법과 더불어 남미 블록체인 생태계한 이야기도 함께 다룰 예정입니다.
네트워킹 만찬
당일 저녁에는 세계 각지에서 날아들 이오스 커뮤니티 멤버들과 브라질 현지 블록체인 기여자들이 한 데 모인 가운데 네트워킹 만찬이 이루어질 예정입니다. 투자자, 창업자, 개발자 등 다양한 사람들이 게스트리스트에 포함되어 있습니다. 저녁 식사간 자연스런 만남을 통해 이오스 커뮤니티의 외부 접촉 면적을 넓힐 수 있는 더 없이 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다.

10월 16일 아침에는 뮤조 두 아마냐에서 EOSIO 개발자 워크샵이 개최될 예정입니다.
제 2 회 EOS 커뮤니티 컨퍼런스
오후에는 제 2회 이오스 커뮤니티 컨퍼런스가 진행됩니다. 컨퍼런스의 주제와 연사 등은 모두 서울에서 개최된 1회 행사와 마찬가지로 매주 열리는 기획 회의를 통해 커뮤니티가 직접 결정하게 됩니다.

언컨퍼런스
10월 17일과 18일에는 이오스 커뮤니티를 위한 언컨퍼런스가 개최됩니다. 장소는 리오 요트 클럽이 될 것입니다. 17일에는 토론이 진행됩니다. 2018년 서울에서 개최되었던 1회 행사와 비슷한 형태로 모든 주제는 이오스 커뮤니티 구성원이 참가하는 가운데, 투표를 통해 즉석에서 바로 결정됩니다.
10월 18일
언컨퍼런스 빌딩 데이
한가지 업그레이드 되는 점은, 참여자들이 17일 하루간 토론했던 모든 인사이트와 정보들을 취합한 결론을 실제 프로포절로 기안하고, 코딩하고 기안해보는 일정이 될 것입니다.
클로징 디너
이틀간에 걸쳐 이어지는 언컨퍼런스의 대미는 클로징 디너로 마무리 합니다.
주말간의 비공식 일정
주말간 리오 데 자네이루를 좀 더 경험해 보고 싶은 분들을 위해 여러가지 활동들을 준비했습니다. 그룹 서핑 레슨, 페드라 다 가베아에서의 행글라이딩, 산타 테레사 예술지구에서부터 두 번의 월드컵 경기 결승전과 2016 리오 올림픽 주 경기장으로 쓰인 마라카냐 경기장에 이르기까지 리오의 곳곳을 탐방해 보세요.
이 모든 프로그램은 이오스 리오와 이오스 아르헨티나가 주축으로, 노드원, 이오스 네이션을 포함한 이오스 베네수엘라, 이오스 코스타리카, 이오스 디트로이트 등 많은 생태계 구성원의 도움을 통해 준비됩니다. 행사가 가능토록 함께 해주고 계신 모든 분들께 감사 인사도 전해 드립니다.

¡La Conferencia de la Comunidad EOS llega a Rio!
Nunca dudes de que un pequeño grupo de ciudadanos comprometidos pueden cambiar el mundo; es lo único que alguna vez lo ha hecho.
Somos ingenieros, empresarios, representantes, BP, proxies y, sobre todo, creyentes en el posible impacto positivo de blockchain en la vida de miles de millones de personas en todo el mundo.
Es increíble ver cómo una comunidad dispersa por todo el mundo, se organiza para lograr tanto. Telegram, WeChat y Zoom son excelentes para mantenernos conectados. Pero no hay nada como tener a algunos de los mejores expertos en DPoS y aplicaciones descentralizadas en el mismo lugar, al mismo tiempo.
Experimentamos esto por primera vez después del lanzamiento de EOS Mainnet cuando la comunidad se unió para la Conferencia de la Comunidad EOS en Seúl. Los increíbles eventos organizados por la Comunidad Coreana de BP (enorme agradecimiento a Node One y otros) crearon un entorno para fomentar la serendipia y permitieron que florencieran ideas y asociaciones. Conferencia Rio Blockchain (RBC)
El martes 15 de octubre, la Conferencia Rio Blockchain (RBC) tendrá lugar en el Museo del Mañana.
RBC es un evento agnóstico de blockchain co-creado en colaboración con Museu do Amanhã.
El tema del evento será cómo las aplicaciones descentralizadas están contribuyendo a un futuro sostenible y abundante.
Abierto al público en general y de forma gratuita, RBC se centrará en hacer que blockchain sea accesible a las masas. El evento promoverá un entorno para la polinización cruzada entre diferentes comunidades de blockchain y proporcionará información sobre el ecosistema latinoamericano.
Cena de networking
Durante la noche, se realizará una cena de networking para los asistentes de la Comunidad EOS y la comunidad tecnológica local. La lista de invitados incluye a los desarrolladores, inversores y emprendedores de dApp. El objetivo es crear un ambiente agradable donde todos puedan pasar un buen rato mientras se expande el alcance de la comunidad EOS a un público más amplio.

2ª Conferencia de la Comunidad EOS (ECC)
Por la tarde, tendrá lugar la 2ª Conferencia de la Comunidad EOS (ECC). La comunidad estará presente en cada detalle, comenzando con la definición de la agenda. Siguiendo los pasos del 1er ECC, tendremos llamadas semanales abiertas a la comunidad para discutir los temas, la dinámica y los oradores.
17 de octubre
(In) conferencia Día de Debate
El 17 y 18 de octubre tendremos la conferencia para la comunidad EOS, que tendrá lugar en Rio Yach Club, diseñada para tener dos momentos.
El 17 de octubre, será el día de discusión. Los temas más urgentes según la comunidad serán sugeridos, votados y discutidos en el lugar, en un modelo similar a Seúl 2018.
18 de octubre
Día de construcción de la conferencia
Sobre la base de la experiencia de Seúl, los organizadores sugirieron una forma de canalizar todas las ideas y la energía del primer día, para elevar la evolución discutida. Es por eso que decidimos celebrar el segundo día de la (In)conferencia el 18 de octubre, centrado exclusivamente en la creación de soluciones para el final del evento.
