Thanks for doing this Bruno! We’d disagree slightly in your conclusions re: OpenEBS vs. alternatives. You used Jiva which is used generally on ARM or similar for low overhead and simplicity. Customers like Bloomberg tend to use a flavor of DynamicLocal PV from OpenEBS. This is also the pattern recommended by folks like Elastic and other workloads that have resilience.
