Instead, craft you story around how your company will produce revenue and outmaneuver competition. Be obsessed with ROI. Produce revenue as soon as possible because you will need it to complete a Series A.
And remember more than anything that all the companies cited in this article and others you believe are massively successful raised their cash in a completely different environment than right now. They did it during an easier time — a less efficient time. There was less deal flow for investors and much less prerequisites for founders raising capital. It will set you up for failure if you believe that you will follow the same path as them because that path doesn’t exist any more.
