Two ultra-low-cost carriers are working together again, and tourists visting Mexico will be the beneficiaries.

Frontier Airlines and Volaris announced last week that they will once again be working together to make travel to Mexico easy with a codeshare partnership starting again on May 16. The partnership originally started back in 2018.

“We are thrilled to resume codesharing with Volaris, which will provide Frontier customers the ability to easily and conveniently book travel to a huge array of exciting destinations in Mexico,” said Barry Biffle, Frontier Airlines’ CEO. “Volaris is an excellent, well-established air carrier that has been in operation for nearly 20 years and, like Frontier, is focused on providing convenient, affordable, and friendly air travel.”

Frontier flyers will again be able to seamlessly book Volaris flights through the Frontier mobile app and website, just as they were booking a Frontier flight.

The destinations served in the codeshare partnership include Mexico City, Cancun, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Huatulco, Acapulco, Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Tijuana.
