More Than 1,000 Tourists Per Day Climbing The Popular Guinigi Tower In Lucca

The Guinigi Tower in Lucca has always been a tourist favorite when visiting the amazing Medieval walled city in Tuscany. However, there has been a recent boom in traveler interest in the site with more than 1,000 tickets sold each day.
Recently, Guinigi Tower has added a new ticket office to keep up with the visitor demand at the tower.
“We are really satisfied with the impact that the new ticket office has had on visitors and also on our operators,” said the director of Metro, Roberto Di Grazia, in a published report about the new ticket office.
Guinigi Tower was turned over to Metro to operate in 2024. The tower is considered one of the most popular attractions in Lucca, as well as the entire region of Tuscany.
