“Why should I care about the Kurds?”

You should care about American power. That power stems partly from the trust that other countries have in us. We have supported the Kurds for nearly thirty years now; we have cooperated with them and they have helped us. They provided crucial information leading to the killing of the ISIS leader. By betraying the Kurds, Mr. Trump demonstrated that America will throw anybody under the bus. Why should anybody trust America again? Without that trust, how can we survive in this world?

“I don’t care about “election interference””

Fine. But do you care about the rule of law? The law is clear: soliciting the interference of foreign countries in elections is a felony. If you don’t like the law, write your Congressman. But that’s the law and Mr. Trump broke it. You rant away about other things, but you implicitly concede that he broke the law.

“It’s pretty much a fact that if the federal government wants to charge you with a felony it can, because federal criminal codes are so broad that if you do ANYTHING you’re violating some law or other.”

That’s a lie. You cite a nutcase website to support your claim. I challenge you to provide a single example of an innocent person being punished by courts for an action that wasn’t immoral, with the exception of persons who were later exonerated by additional evidence.

“Our government is utterly corrupt.”

Son, you’ve got a lot of anger and very little education. I suggest you start learning about “facts”. Facts are your friends.

“I don’t care about Iran’s nuclear program at all.”

Boy, you REALLY need a high school education!!! Here’s how it works: Iran gets nuclear weapons. That induces Saudi Arabia and Turkey to get nuclear weapons, which encourages even more countries to get nuclear weapons. In a few decades, lots of countries have nuclear weapons. Somehow one or more of those weapons get into the hands of a terrorist group. Kaboom! There goes New York City. But you don’t care if millions of Americans die, do you?

“I don’t care about North Korea’s nuclear program at all. North Korea isn’t going to nuke me; if it nukes anyone it’ll be a close neighbor, or California/Vancouver.”

Once again you demonstrate your surpassing ignorance. In the first place, North Korea is developing longer range missiles that can drop a bomb anywhere in the USA. Second, they don’t have the necessary data on earth’s gravitational field to get their missiles to hit their target with much accuracy. So when they launch a missile, it could hit almost anywhere within a hundred miles of its target. In the third place, a nuclear strike anywhere in the US will cost you dearly. The government will have to divert trillions of dollars to repair the damage — money that can’t be spent on you. And it’s likely that you’ll end up under the cloud of radioactivity that will spread from the target. And it’s doubtful that the North Koreans would use just one bomb. With a dozen bombs, they would pretty well destroy this country.

Your opinions are predicated on huge amounts of anger and almost nothing in the way of knowledge of the real world. I know I am wasting my time trying to educate you, but I nevertheless urge you to read something other than Nazi comic books.
