Reminds me of something I’ve heard Dan Savage say about ending relationships. Isn’t it silly that we consider relationships that end in divorce as failures? and that one of you literally has to die to make it to the finish line and “win”. People change. Situations change. You don’t have to look at things that end as a waste of time.
