Obviously a good portion of the voters are convinced women like Elizabeth Warren or Jill Stein are men. 
I think Hillary’s fundamental mistake is to even try to convince anybody that she’s trustworthy. Her best qualities are her experience and her willingness to falter under public pressure. So a democratic pressure on her would actually produce some results — as long as she’s being constantly scrutinized. That’s what she must highlight, especially when in opposition to the “strongman” Trump.
