How To Find GitLab Issues Quicker

I’m sure you know the situation that a colleague write you in the chat or sit next to you and says: “Check issue #215”.

What happens then? You go to GitLab and do one of the following:

  1. You click on an existing issue, change the issue number in the address bar and press Enter
  2. You start typing (the gitlab url) in the address bar so the browser will show you some other issue URLs, then you change the number and press Enter

STOP DOING THAT!

Stop doing that and use GitLab Board Better that has a feature to type the issue number in order to see it.

So next time, when someone tell you “Check issue #215”, you just type 215 and press Enter.
