I completely support your decision. The way immigrants are being treated is unconscionable. It is similar to the way my grandparents were treated in 30s Germany. I wish that were an exaggeration, but it isn’t. My family and I have discussed leaving, but we have lived here all our lives, and are not ready.

I have very little optimism, very little faith in our ability to successfully resist. With voter suppression as rampant as it is, Democrats are unlikely to take back the House or Senate in 2018.
