Give one candy and receive two

(What did I learn about interacting with the world)

Similarity, snowball and boomerang. Might sound that these three words have no connection between them. And if you didn’t had a chance to hear or learn something about Indian Veda than you won’t see the connection as I didn’t see it till about 5-6 years ago when my father, who was practicing Yoga very actively in that time said me about three principles of human’s life — Principle of Similarity, Principle of Snowball and Principle of Boomerang. But what do they mean?
Principle of Similarity — The person will only attract people, events and things in his or her life which are somehow similar to the person on the mental level or subconscious level. Which means that everything we encounter in our life is attracted due to specific mental blueprint which we have in our minds and hearts (Karma is another aspect which will not be touched in this article)
Principle of Snowball — Every emotion/habit will become much stronger with time if we will feel it more often. Like with a snowball which is becoming bigger as we roll it further.
Principle of Boomerang — Everything what we send in this world will come back to us with the same vector. If we are angry, then we will encounter more events or people which will make us even more angry and the same goes if we are happy. The more happy we are, the more happiness we will encounter on our way.
Easy as that. For me, who is a little bit naïve person and can easily trust almost any point of view, which has good arguments behind it and doesn’t seem to something abnormal these principles were pivoting point. Starting from that day I said to myself that I would think only about good things, say good things about other people and my life will become a fairy tale. Yet, it didn’t. Bad things happened, some of them where minor everyday irritations like broken dishes or lost tram, or several mosquitos which wouldn’t allow you to sleep at night, till some major things like big financial difficulties, broken parts of the body etc. which lasted for several months or even longer. At that point I have begun to question myself, why do all of these things happen if I do positive things. Why the hell, is this happening to me? Why? Not finding an answer I decided to throw forget about this principles and just live by the inertia and do necessary things to achieve what I want (Screw three main principles) And I did, and it brought necessary result, which were even better than results I achieved with my positive dreaming mindset. And I was feeling satisfied, so continued to live in a following manner for following two Years.
Now I am 21 and just finished my Year 2 at university, working in the consulting company and I think I have very good life. But at some point I’ve decided to take a brief glance in the past and as Steve Jobs have said: “Connect the Dots”. And by looking back I’ve realized that three principles which I thought at that time didn’t mean anything and were completely useless, actually were working all the time. All of my actions done in that period of time were leading me to where I am now, and I have received exactly the same things which I have given to the world both on mental and physical levels.
The main idea is that everything in this world begins with a creation of something new or destruction of something old and usually creation and destruction follow each other in cycle like a wave in the sea, goes up creating a wave and then crashes, when it hits mountains or land!
As you all know, everything in this world begins with a thought. The idea of something, good or bad it doesn’t matter. But it is still nothing important until this thought is bathed in emotions. Emotions are the fuel for the ideas like gasoline is for engine. Yet many ideas do not receive this fuel because people begin to think that they are dumb, and the World will not accept it or worse, will begin to make fun of these ideas. The ideas die without even being pronounced. Yet some ideas are receive enough fuel and go past Stage 1 directly in the Stage 2 when a person begin talking about them. He is already opened up a little and give his ideas to the world. This small atom flew out and begins to interact with other atoms causing them to move, if it has enough energy to do so. And if the person supplies his/her ideas with enough amount of emotion, then Stage 3 might be activated where words become actions and the idea begins to grow and flourish. The success of the idea depends on the amount of energy it is supported with and by the amount of people who are supporting it with their emotions. Let’s take the BMW as an example. It began as an idea of luxury car with a performance of a sport car, the idea which led to the design of the first car, the idea which became an international car manufacturing company which produces BMW vehicles which are all about luxury and sports and this idea is alive, supported by many people worldwide. And while people buy cars the corporation receives money for it.
So how do three principles of life worked within the BMW case, or Microsoft case or UFC case or other? It all began with an idea of something. This idea, supplied by emotions was transformed in words, which were transformed in a business plan or something similar. It attracted people who liked the idea (Similarity) who together began to turn this idea into real objects, modernizing them, upgrading finalizing. And was becoming better and better with every day, month, year, decade (Snowball). After some time the ideas was launched for the masses — thrown in the world, given to the people to use it. And people began to use it, buying it and paying for it, so the money from the idea came to the developers who were able to use them in order to make their initial product better, increase the amount of production and make their own lives better (Boomerang).
So give candy to someone, and you might as well receive 2 or more candies in the future, maybe not from that specific person. Give something to this world. Give your ideas, opinions, products, your services and don’t close yourself from the world, because by doing that you will destroy yourself. Imagination is like muscles, if you don’t use it, it degrades and becomes useless. So use your own resources, your imagination to make this world better. Do it in order to make our life better. You won’t receive anything unless you give something! This is working model for every aspect of life! And if you think that I am wrong — tell me, but take a look on your life before hand and try to remember when was the last time you received something not giving anything, or try this experiment. Close yourself in a room for some time, and don’t communicate with the world and see how much will you really get! Thank you!
