Hi Sunny Lamb, thanks for your response. I mention LDL fats in relation to increasing the bioavailability of medical cannabis. You seem to be implying that the use of cannabis lead to the increase in your LDL cholesterol. Studies seem to indicate the opposite. For example, this study entitled “The Impact of Marijuana Use on Glucose, Insulin, and Insulin Resistance among US Adults” published in the American Journal of Medicine concludes that:”In this large, cross-sectional study, we found that subjects who reported using marijuana in the past month had lower levels of fasting insulin and HOMA-IR, as well as smaller waist circumference and higher levels of HDL-C. These associations were attenuated among those who reported using marijuana at least once, but not in the past 30 days, suggesting that the impact of marijuana use on insulin and insulin resistance exists during periods of recent use.” In addition, it appears that LDL fats are not the villains they’ve been made out to be. Check out this study ”No association between ‘bad cholesterol’ and elderly deaths, new study says”. Make no mistake about it, the body needs LDL fats for the Endocannabinoid System to work correctly because LDL fats distribute endocannabinoids throughout the body. But like anything else in life, it’s a matter of balance.

I've done volunteer background research for Project CBD. The Endocannabinoid System is a scientific fact. It is the reason why cannabis works as a medicine.
