At first glance, I don’t notice it.
I keep wandering in the maze of the streets, wondering : “why am I here ?”

It’s grey. It’s dark. There are ideograms I can’t figure out. Yet, I keep walking and looking around to understand this undefined beauty.

The daytime is hot, silent and calm. Kids play naively while adults pretend to work secretly.

Then the sun sets. Taipei puts on her most glittering dress, inviting its inhabitants to enjoy the fresh breeze, accompanying them through the night.

Taipei’s beauty comes from the inside, from its people, from the breath of freedom each soul spreads all over and that make you feel like you are one of them.
