DCS review. And I thought I was the only one who was unsatisfied about this ‘content’.
About the graphics and the frame rate, it is totally bullshit.
By the current technology, they made something that is even worse than the Xbox 360 type of graphic. The visuals on the Xbox 360 when playing DC seems to have the graphics of Xbox One, which really attract many people to play.
But DCS is like playing the first generation visuals of Xbox, which is such a shame with bugs and glitches (no pun intended) compared with the glitch-free DC2. Not to mention the outrageous models on the game and the lack of characters, which makes the hype fall.
For songs, why would they who would only put 10 core songs in the game?! That’s just ¼ of the content in any DC gaming history!
Just Dance 2016 can like have 30 over songs? Of course, DC says “Oh we know some players don’t like some songs, so we are letting them ‘choose’ the songs they like and put in the game!” Huh, yeah right. This is a method so that they can earn money for every new song people pay for. And why people don’t buy the songs? That leads to my next point.
Choreography, the worst in DC history. All recycled shit. I repeat, recycled shit. I don’t like to use this word, but hell no, the dance is full of recycled moves. Of course, many choreographies in the past series do recycled one or two moves in some parts of the song, but not like DCS recycling ALL the moves. Comparing with JD 2016 which the dances in past series were weak, the choreography from the new game looks very neat that makes me, as a consumer wants to buy it even I am not a JD fan.
However, it is a shame that DCS’s choreography failed on everyone. Is HMX out of money to hire choreographers outside to create a dance?! At least we know, Frenchy is the assistant to make the DCS’s choreography; Why can’t SHE create some fresh choreography for the game?
Finally, online multiplayer? Comparing to their rival “JD NOW” has this type of online multiplayer and most of all, it is FREE! Maybe there are only 5 songs per day to dance to, but it changes every week.
DCS, on the other hand, only has 10 core songs. If they had a system where they provided one free DLC song changing randomly every week, then that would provide some entertainment to the fans. But that’s not the point; the point is WHERE IS THE ONLINE COMPABILITY EVERYONE IS REQUESTING?! Of course there is online ranking, but who cares about that?! The truth is everyone wants to dance with someone living far from them, not just by themselves. HMX is a small studio, but not small to make such technology which is happening with other games now!
DCS is a total failure, even I have only played it in an Anime Expo Event, but the experience was bad because the song difficulties were wrong (it turned to easy when selected hard), the controls were hard to sensor and many more. In conclusion, if DC4 was to be developed like this, then I hope it won’t be developed. My only wish for this game is hope Matt Boch returns to the game after the failure of Fantasia. He is the only hope to turn DC back to its original self!
