Your College Degree is Worthless
Isaac Morehouse

So, it all boils down to, “It’s what can do, not what you know.” I believe this generally works for jobs where experience doesn’t require a certification. But, you can’t sit for a PE, RN or CPA exam without a degree. Even if you can perform a heart transplant on a dead frog, I doubt they are letting you into the OR without a credential and a degree from a medical school. Sure, you can acquire skills and knowledge from reading books or taking courses — But, until society permits you to sit for those certification exams without the “sheepskin” to prove you’ve sat for hours and spent thousands of dollars your degree is NOT worthless.
