Very Interesting !! Please tell me more. I can send you some more stuff about Bliznatsi if you like too. I lived in Moscow for ten years and grew to know the city like ‘the back of my hand’ , to use the cliche. People in America don’t know Russia and so they say a lot of things that reveal this ignorance. The Russian government IS bad, but the people can be very different, and I was happy there. It was also the place where I became kind of a freelance ‘business’ man — if I don’t flatter myself too much. I left the school and started getting my own students. Being an editor didn’t hurt either. I’ll tell you, Betta, I became the toughest boss I ever had. I never liked bosses or authority — always rebelled against it — but late in life, I guess after all my family members (in some instances ‘enablers’) died off and I found myself alone in Europe during a bitterly cold winter in Germany (2008), I made up my mind to call on the forces of drive and discipline that I had been raised to respect. And I have been in good shape since then. Now I live in this Bulgarian village with my Russian wife (good but not ‘great’ marriage) and my beloved dogs (definitely my best friends) and I still work every day doing Skype lessons with people back in Russia, and now I have a job in Varna (17 km away from the village, a big city by Bulgarian standards) that I will start in a couple of weeks. I am pretty happy most of the time. If you like, I can send some photos showing life here. Well, Betta, it’s almost 7.00 (A.M.) here and, believe it or not, I have my first student coming up in 10 minutes. So I will sign off for now. Take care. It’s still night-time in Tennessee, I know.

Hello everybody. My name is Eric. Born in the USA, I have traveled a great deal as an "ex-pat" (hate the term) English teacher. I lived in Russia for 10 years.
