For me the ultimate cover is The White Stripes version of I Don’t Know What to do with Myself.

1962 song, covered by an iconic version by Dusty Springfield (pbuh) in 1964 and I heard the rocking version by The White Stripes years later.

I love a cover that remakes a song to a new generation.
