Of course let’s assume they work. But then the question becomes, “Do the benefits outweigh the costs?” At least some vaccines have caused a reaction that meant death for the patient. Is death worth risking? Many vaccines are put in place for diseases where prevalence is already dropping. Also, independent, randomized, double blind studies on vaccines are hard to find, so in fact both effectiveness and safety (meaning how bad the side effects are, including death) are very hard to determine. If you answer these problems that I am posing (please do), we are still left with the question of whether the benefits outweigh the costs. Of course I believe that question is for every parent, and in the case of adults, adult, to decide.
