Being Thankful For Our Gifts

This morning on my blog, I wrote about wanting to write more. Writing not necessarily for the sake of writing, but writing in order to earn money.

Already I’ve gotten a few ideas of what I’d like to do. And I have goals revolving around those so I can keep myself motivated.

It’s the First Step to Making My Gift Sellable

Much like opening the doors to allow people to guest post on my blog, this is the first time I’m actively pushing for it. I’ve made some attempts in the past, indicating it at the bottom of every page I posted, but it didn’t get anywhere.

But getting back up on that, and putting in more effort into it, I can imagine that things will change.

After all, when I first started to put that into my articles it was about a year ago. Since then so much has actually changed.

Either Way, I Am Thankful For This Gift

Thankful that over the few years I’ve been writing, I’m still doing it.

Thankful that I’m still refining it on a daily basis.

Thankful that I enjoy writing this way.

I am thankful for a lot of what my writing has done for me, not to mention the discipline that it has taught me.

That simple intention to sell my work and offer my services is something I am looking forward to doing.

I Am Grateful…

For the gift that I have, realized over months of understanding myself and what my skills are. I believe now that when we pause and do that, we can find deeper gratitude for our work.

Not to mention of course identifying it as well.

But now it’s time to use that gift and drive value for other people. As a result, even when my work is good, there is always room for more. There is always room for improvement in every area.

But Don’t Let That Be A Way To Downplay Your Work

Your work, and our gifts are great, but when you have a growing mindset, that can change your style and technique. As a writer, we write based on our “voice” our perception of reality.

That can be altered over time as the world evolves and we learn new things. All of our gifts can be built upon and it is up to us to do so.

What sort of gifts can you give to the world? What sort of goal can you set today to improve it?

Ask yourself those questions as you continue to grow!

To your growth!
