A New Year, a new Thinkster.io
We’ve got some big news! As of today, Thinkster.io has officially been acquired and is now under the amazing management of Joe Eames! 🎉
Joe is one of the most impressive people we’ve ever met. He:
- Organizes and runs ng-conf, React Conf, Framework Summit, & more
- Is a top-viewed author on Pluralsight.com with over 1,000,000 viewed hours (!!!) between his 24 courses
- Popular public speaker, including major conferences such as Angular Connect, That Conference, OreDev, and others
- Expert front-end developer with over 20 years of programming experience
Besides all that, he’s also the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. I can’t imagine another human being on the planet that could possibly run Thinkster.io better than Joe (including Albert & I). So when Joe asked if we’d be interested in having him run & own the company, we said “heck yeah!”
The best of both worlds
Today is just the beginning of our collaboration. With Joe at Thinkster’s helm, Albert and I are able to primarily focus our efforts on growing the team & platform at StackBlitz inc, and later this year we’ll be unveiling some big stuff that deeply integrates the two platforms in ways that make you go 🤯 (hint: imagine the best online learning environment, ever :)

When Albert and I started Thinkster five years ago, we never imagined it would be used by millions of developers to create world changing products, provide for themselves & their families, forge tools that augment research about the universe & this blue planet we call home — amongst many other amazing pursuits.
We can’t wait to see Joe write the next chapter of Thinkster. With no doubt, it will be bigger & better than ever before.
