I understand the frustration with the phrase… But we say it to all of our 4x4 buddies as well. Mostly male BTW.

There is a huge segment of this country that has barely traveled. I know this because I live in the heart of it. Can you imagine living somewhere for 30 years and barely leaving the county? I see it all the time, and I am always floored. These people, and the parents that raised the “homebodies” are the ones who look at you like a crazed mad woman. “What are you thinking?” they are probably saying!

I will say this though. After a recent two week romp across the western states this spring… Guys generally have less to worry about when we camp, hike and sleep in our cars. The sad fact is that there is an *sshole out there somewhere who feels like he should be able to have whatever he can wrestle to the ground. You dont want to be there at that time when he arrives. (That was there long before this president). If you are in the presence of liquor… Even worse.

I personally give you big time credit for getting out there and showing others that the world is what you make of it! We all need to lead by example.
