For the past 4 months I’ve really been getting into data science and the main reason for my medium posts was to track my progress.
Prior to today. I have done a bit in data science.
Python is the most beautiful language out there. Super easy to learn.

I started off with Pandas in Python and it was pretty dope. I would say after a lot of failures I’ve mastered the API. Something that really helped was the book:
Python for Data Analysis: Wes McKinney (he wrote Pandas)
I had the chance to use Spark at Work and I loved it. But I only have touched the minimum of Spark which is just the DataFrames data structure. Would love to explore more of the RDD and other features as well as Spark for Scala, if I was given the chance to.
