You can major in creative writing, but creative writing doesn’t pay the bills. You can instead become a freelance business writer, or you can work for a marketing or advertising agency, where you will write better than almost everyone who works there (except the grizzled old copywriter who gave Ernest Hemingway his first pencil).

Major in something you love, and find a way to make a living from it. It may not be actually doing that thing, but you can use the skills in another way.
