I think the Libertarian ticket deserves more than “a look.” Instead, I think that any Republican of the limited-government variety needs to think of reasons they *shouldn’t* vote for Johnson/Weld. If the choice is between a hijacked turbo-statist GOP led by a kook, an establishment turbo-statist Democrat ticket led by a crook, and a couple of very decent former Republican governors who lean too libertine while promising to uphold the constitution and (try to) cut DC down to size, it’s the easiest choice I’ll make this year.
