The flowchart illustrates the multi-stage process of sugar production from sugar cane.

Overall, it is evident that sugar is derived through an intricate process involving various stages, starting from cultivation and concluding with the extraction of sugar from sugar canes.

Looking at the diagram more closely, it can be observed that sugar cane cultivation begins approximately 12–18 months before harvesting, which can be carried out either manually by farmers or through mechanized means. Following this initial stage, the sugar canes undergo crushing, resulting in the extraction of a substantial and sweet juice. At this juncture, the juice needs to undergo purification through a limestone filter. Once the juice is purified, it is subjected to heating, transforming it into syrup through an evaporator. Subsequently, sugar crystals are separated from the syrup using a centrifuge. In the final step, the sugar is dried and cooled, ultimately yielding the end result.
