I understand your point. I’ve certainly wanted him out of the Senate for a long time, especially since around 2007, when he seemed to really start coming off the rails. I just have a question. What possible use is screaming out for his death? How will this change or affect anything in a positive way? I don’t mean ‘positive’ in some new age sort of way. I mean move your agenda forward a single millimeter? I’m sure it feels good to vent like that and I can’t really blame you for feeling that way, though I think it’s a little silly to depict a single Senator as if he were Shiva the destroyer of worlds. He, and other politicians like him, call for a lot of things and half the time (maybe most of the time) it’s just to placate their base.
I guess my main issue with your piece is that it accomplishes only two things; venting your frustration/anger, and adding even more fuel to the already overly emotional noise machine that fills the airwaves.
