LUAN OLIVEIRA

Born in the rough favelas of Porto Alegre, Brazil, Luan Oliveira's ability to tune out anything but the technique gave him the resiliency to succeed with style. After winning a contest at age 17 that awarded him a free trip to California, Luan’s path has gone from adversity to impactful footage and a coveted first place at Tampa Am in 2009 as well as two Tampa Pro wins. Because of the competition and talent level, there’s an assumption that any Brazilian skater on the radar is already high caliber. Luan Oliveira’s already reached an apex of success that’s doubled by the path to get there.
