Hi, Fran. Medicare actually has a great example using numbers (scroll down to the “Generic drugs” section): https://www.medicare.gov/drug-coverage-part-d/costs-for-medicare-drug-coverage/costs-in-the-coverage-gap.

In 2020, that 37% will become 25%. In the example above, Mr. Evans’ out-of-pocket spending would be $5.50 — down from $8.14. Hope this helps!
