Untitled Goose Game Review
A review of the Untitled Goose Game by House House
The Untitled Goose Game is an indie game that stole hearts at the EA 2019 Expo and was recently released on the PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. It’s a charming, irreverent, third-person game, with loads of all the things we all love about indie games. Untitled Goose’s setting is a quaint village, which houses a myriad of people. This village is where all of the fun and chaos takes place. The basis of this review is console gameplay.
Play Via Download
To play this game, you must download the game. For this review, I played this game on the PS4. There is only one character available for play, the aforementioned goose.
Plot: Hilarious Mayhem
As the name suggests, the Untitled Goose Game features a goose; this goose roams around the village completing tasks and wreaking havoc. The game doesn’t offer combat but who needs it when you can indulge in clean, chaotic fun. Instead, the goose wanders the village looting properties and creating anarchy. Each location offers an array of tasks for you to complete, which cause disarray for the village citizens. Players complete the tasks using creativity, strategy, and stealth.
Charming Irreverence
The Untitled Goose Games is an indie that’s part puzzle, part strategy, and part stealth, with loads of mischief. It features a third-person camera angle with precocious charm. The combination of cunning, and planning to complete the tasks, leave players with hours of fun.
Indie Fun For Everyone
The graphics for this indie game are what you would expect for an indie game. The game is made for consoles and PC, like the PS4 and Xbox One, and so it works well with the device’s graphics. Despite the indie graphics, this game is delightful. The graphics give this game an almost adorable ineffable draw.
Final Thoughts
The Untitled Goose Game is buckets of cheeky wholesome fun. It is hours of fun for gamers who enjoy creating a little chaos where ever they go if you’re looking for some good clean bedlam featuring an idyllic English setting and sassy goose.
