I am so sorry that this is your continued experience. That is shameful – as medical professionals, your doctors should be ashamed. It doesn’t need to be that way (although it too often is) – I was so lucky to find a primary doctor who really gets chronic (often largely invisible) illness, and she has made it feasible for me to recover, slowly, but (overall) sustainably. You are absolutely not wrong to expect more from your medical team. I hope today is better for you.
