I did think about that, John. And imagine the marketers associated with this campaign did too. Certainly they knew there would be pushback. But I decided to write about it anyhow.

I don’t write about every one of these kinds of stunts — that would be a full-time commitment. But when particularly egregious ones come to light, and I’m able, I do contribute to the dialogue. If it makes one person think a bit more critically then it’s worth it.
