I used the tool once in the past so it was not new to me, the upload of the artboards is became very handy after the release of Craft plugin for Sketch made by inVision.

Links between artboards made with Craft

This plugin help create links between screens and upload the artboards to the invision’s platform and share the prototype.

You can find the prototype I made clicking here

Simple Design and basic shapes.

The idea behind the wireframe for webdesign and mobile design is to create a simple visual representation of how the flow of the app or website you are creating will be.

In this exercise I had to do a reverse job, create a wireframe from a given UI of the EMOV car sharing app.

The UIs of the EMOV app

I started isolating the fundamental part of each screen, like the name in the header or the information inside the modal, than I used only box and dummy text for the less important text area.

Sketch is a very powerful and easy to use software that can boost his power with the ability to install plugins.

One of the most important things to do when working with different artboards is the order of the layers and the naming convention.

Keeping all in order help a lot find components to modify or measure the space between.

Coming from a graphic design foundation I found easy to start with this software.
