“Oppressors are all afraid of me because I speak the truth that can set men free.” — Muhammad Ali
Given our present dystopic world, I don’t think anyone would argue that life on Earth is fraught with dire, problems threatening the very existence of humanity. Both the virulent, and now violent racism; and the toxic poisoning of our mutual ‘realm of mortal existence,’ the planet Earth, continues unabated. Our exigent circumstances demand immediate change.
One of the problems humanity faces today, is our inability to communicate with each other. No one can agree upon facts these days, and therefore, no one agrees upon the truth.
When speaking about truth, Ali said,
Facts are but its shadows,
Truth stands above all sin;
Great be the battle in life,
Truth in the end shall win.
What is the truth?
Here is the ‘Greatest’ on the subject of truth.
Truth
The face of truth is open,
The eyes of truth are bright,
The lips of truth are ever closed,
The head of truth is upright.
The breast of truth stands forward,
The gaze of truth is straight,
Truth has neither fear nor doubt,
Truth has patience to wait.
The words of truth are touching,
The voice of truth is deep,
The law of truth is simple:
All that you sow you reap.
The soul of truth is flaming,
The heart of truth is warm,
The mind of truth is clear,
And firm through rain or storm.
Facts are but its shadows,
Truth stands above all sin;
Great be the battle in life,
Truth in the end shall win.
…Life of truth is eternal,
Immortal is its past,
Power of truth will endure,
Truth shall hold to the last.
Muhammad Ali travelled around the world, preaching, teaching, and speaking truth to power. Even after he lost his ability to continue his public speaking, any time you saw Ali, you could hear his past words so clearly, as if he were today, talking to you in person. As it is said, “May he rest in Peace.”
A great example of Muhammad Ali’s truth rested in his poem, “We Came In Chains.” His eloquent poem and presentation brought to the forefront of our mind, the physical pain, and the misery of poverty we have suffered and endured for over 400 years here in the Wilderness of the Americas.
White folk don’t anyone to know their history and their treatment of CHOSSA (Children of Stolen and Sold Africans). As I write, Unites States Presidential candidates, including Ron DeSantis and Donald “John” Trump (a ‘john’ if there ever was one), don’t want this American “his-story” taught to children in public schools.
They definitely don’t want their children to feel the guilt and shame that must be bourn for their forefathers previous behavior, and their present behavior. It is insane for white America to expect us to continue pledging allegiance to the flag of the United States; to a country, that to this day, denies us the freedom, justice, and equality of opportunity that humanity deserves. For us, the U,S. flag is a symbol of slavery, suffering, and death. Until all of us are free, none of us are free.
We came in chains!
We came in chains!
We came in misery!
Now all our suffering, pains are part of history.
We came in chains!
You must remember that!
For that, and that alone explains exactly where we are at.
We came in chains!
We came as living loot!
So you could boast! Slave gotten gains
We’ve grown beneath your boot!
We came in chains!
And how our blood was spilled!
Together with our sweat, it stains this nation we have built.
We came in chains!
We didn’t volunteer; and yet today the fact remains.
We’re still held captive here.
We came in chains!
Now, I say cut us lose! Though, that may go against your grain.
Still, there is no excuse!
We came in chains!
Now, who down there is gonna bear the cost.
Till every one of us regains, the freedom we have lost.
We came in chains!
And now, your choice must be… to either blow out all my brains!
Or else, you’ll set me free! — Muhammad Ali
Ironically, and unfortunately for CHOSSA, the Caucasian has not yet ruled out blowing out our brains. There are more guns in America than there are people. Additionally, the Caucasian will never set us free from his enslaving paradigms.
Only ‘We’, can set us free, but truth is required. I will end with another poem by the “Greatest.”
Freedom Better Now
Freedom — Better Now
Better far — from all I see —
To die fighting to be free
What more fitting end could be?
Better surely than in some bed
Where in broken health I’m led
Lingering until I’m dead
Better than with prayers and pleas
Or in the clutch of some disease
Wasting slowly by degrees
Better than a heart attack
or some dose of drug I lack
Let me die by being black
Better far that I should go
Standing here against the foe
Is the sweeter death to know
Better than the bloody stain
on some highway where I’m lain
Torn by flying glass and pane
Better calling death to come
than to die another dumb,
muted victim in the slum
Better than of this prison rot
if there’s any choice I’ve got
Kill me here on the spot
Better for my fight to wage
Now while my blood boils with rage
Less it cool with ancient age
Better violent for us to die
Than to Uncle Tom and try
Making peace just to live a lie
Better now that I say my sooth
I’m gonna die demanding Truth
While I’m still akin to youth
Better now than later on
Now that fear of death is gone
Never mind another dawn.
My truth is that there are four (4) areas of human activity that must be replaced. Not changed, nor redesigned, but completely eliminated. They are, what I call, The Four (4) Pillars/Paradigms Supporting European Hegemony.
Here is my list of European-inspired paradigms that have empowered the white ruling elite, 1/10 of 1% of the world’s population, 8,000,000 folk, who own and control 90% of our Earths’ resources, for their personal benefit; humanity be damned.
The Four Pillars/Paradigms of European Hegemony
1. Economics/White Supremacy — meaning Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, etc.
2. Politics/White Supremacy — meaning Democracy, Marxism, Fascism, etc.
3. Religion/White Supremacy — meaning Judaism, Christianity, Islam, etc.
4. Culture/White Supremacy — meaning Western European ‘White Privilege’, etc.
