Was 9/11 Revealed In One Person’s Dream?

Should She Have Sounded The Alarm To Warn of a Pending Attack?

For almost twenty years, I had a friend with whom I was close. She often wrote down her dreams. Sometimes it was for reference, sometimes it was just because they intrigued her. But on December 28, 2000, she had a dream that seemed entirely unusual, as most dreams tend to be, yet turned out to be something else.

When she told me about the dream, she said she was so horrified that it disturbed her for days after. She sort of blocked it out for a while. Weeks or months even. It wasn’t until September 11, 2001, that her dream was brought back to her memory.

I asked her to send me the dream as she originally wrote it down. This is what she sent me.

Dream I had: December 28, 2000

In a dream last night I saw two quick scenes. The first one was where I was in a real high building. I do not know how high. I was looking out the window and a huge plane like a 747 or something like that was flying right at me. The plane was so large that if it had crashed where I was it would have done major destruction. Just as the plane was getting ready to crash into the building where I was, the plane turn downward 90 degrees and went straight into the ground and disappeared. When the plane disappeared into the ground there was not as much as a crack in the ground.

The second scene was where I again was looking out a window and saw a plane. The vantage point was from the side where I was looking at a plane trying to land on a runway. Again it was getting ready to crash into something. I could not tell if it was the control tower or not. All I know it was a tall building. Again the plane did a 90-degree turn into the ground and disappeared.

I would love to know what the planes represent. I do not know if what I saw was a literal event that I need to pray about to stop it from happening or if it is a symbolic dream about other things.

These dreams were probably terrifying to have on their own in a pre-9/11 world. Why are planes flying into buildings or disappearing into the ground? But after 9/11, it seems that those dreams could have been a premonition to actual events.

So the question is this: was the universe, or God, or whatever, trying to warn people of a pending β€” and possibly preventable β€” act? Was it something the Church should have been praying about to prevent? And could it have been prevented had enough people either prayed about it and/or warned officials?

One could consider that if a regular private citizen, like my friend, suddenly started sounding the alarm about a pending event, and the details of it were the same as what the intelligence community (FBI, CIA, etc.) had already gathered or were seeing in their spying efforts, that maybe those in charge could have taken a more offensive posture. It would have been more attractive than the subsequent defensive position we as a planet were forced into after the 9/11 attacks.

Was 9/11 preventable? Possibly. I won’t delve into the Bush administration getting memo and memo about an imminent attack on U.S. soil, and that bin Laden was at the head of it all. I don’t have the energy to rehash the past in that regard. It won’t bring the people back or the towers rebuilt.

But I will say that there are probably legions of people who have dreams or visions (terms that often get dismissed as β€œquack” material) that have those dreams come to fruition, not by their own volition. Maybe, just maybe, it’s time to stop being distracted with things and start really paying attention to what we’re feeling and seeing inside ourselves.
