Linguists Baffled by Pizza/Blizzard Problem

Language specialists all over the Northeast still have no answers as to why Americans pronounce “pizza” different than “blizzard.” Both words reportedly share the same “i-z-z-a” letter combination.

Rappers Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg have been brought in as consultants for their expertise in the matter.
