Above all else, you are going to want to have fun, it is the only thing that gets me through the commitment issues.

If you’re writing someone/people who is/are completely enjoyable to write, there’s half the battle. (Not sure if the other half is “knowing” ala G.I. Joe or maybe “sitting down and staying down.”)

I like Oliver’s idea and Mike’s as well. Perhaps there’s a way to combine both : Follow your fun kick-ass protagonist on five short journeys? Or five protagonists on the same journey?
