It would appear you are incoherently trying to rehash some of the points originally made without much fanfare by whatever dude wrote the article you link to… your own rambling adding absolutely nothing of substance —quite the opposite. Your “idea” almost seems like something that could’ve half-passed for maybe not the worst thing ever, at first glance, weren’t it so transparent that you aren’t arguing for it, you’re “selling” it. Creepy demeanor, regardless of merit.
…of which there can be none if the closest you get to an argument is “we also get rid of having conflicts between releases using different Breaking version numbers even through they’re part of the same release name”
Considering your examples are about MS and not npm, let’s zoom out a bit. If you’re actively breaking old stuff faster than you’re coming out with new stuff worth publicizing…
Sorry, harsh, but I spotted your little promo on github and couldn’t look away. It’s like that one time someone I know — nice enough bloke, unspeakably atrocious singer —unironically put “(official)” in his name on Facebook. Actually this is nothing like that, or is it? I’m incredibly baked. At least the moral holds, stay vigilant, fellow citizens! Best of luck in your recovery, Sapioit
