Mm, I’ve tried Linux as a main machine and for my developer environment, it was perfect. But ever since I’ve gotten into design, it was either Mac or Windows. Since the first option is Very expensive, I went with Windows.
I don’t regret my decision.
Linux is great for those who are willing to spend the time in learning to enhance your machine. I’ve had so many driver issues on my ASUS with Ubuntu and ElementaryOS that it made me spend a lot more time working on making my machine function properly than in being productive.
Yes, Linux it’s free, it’s light, it’s awesome! But there is a price to pay — and for some it may not be cheap. 😉
