To begin with, Run cmd as an administrator on you windows 7 or later PC. This can be accomplished by; click on the start button, Type cmd, If the cmd app appears, right click on it and select run as administrator, select ‘yes’ on the pop up window to open the command prompt.

After you have opened your terminal as an administrator, type in the following commands step by step.

STEP 1: Type “NETSH WLAN show drivers” into the terminal and Pres ‘Enter’. This command will help you confirm that your computer can create a hot spot with Command Prompt by displaying the information about the computer. You will see a “Yes” next to “Hosted network supported”. If you see “Yes” then your computer supports the Hosted Network feature, which is the feature that allows you to create a Wi-Fi hotspot. If you don’t see “Yes” here, your computer can’t create a wireless hotspot through Command Prompt.
