Upon recent reflection, I realized that I’ve had five full-time jobs in the past two years. Maybe that doesn’t seem alarming or remarkable to you, but to me that challenges a lot of the assumptions that I had about careers growing up. My dad worked at the same office for 35 years. Those days seem quaint and far behind us in 2018. Nowadays if you stick around you’re not moving up, and if you’re not moving up then what’s the point?
