Soundtrack Memories

Welcome to my memory lane… scroll down and enjoy some songs that hold a significant meaning to me.

“The Show Goes On” — Lupe Fiasco

Lupe Fiasco hyped me up before every basketball game with his song “The Show Goes On”. My teammates were always confused as to why this song was my go to hype song. To this day, I could not really tell you why. I just know that once I listened to this song I was ready to destroy my opponents. Did that sound really violent?

“Pretty Girl Rock” — Keri Hilson

All eyes on me when I walk in, No question that this girl’s a 10. Don’t hate me ’cause I’m beautiful…

When it was time to go out with the girls, this was the song we jammed out to. This song is such a confidence booster. We would sing this at the top of our lungs without out a care in the world. Keri Hilson, I appreciate you for making women around the world feel confident.

“Work” — Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea use to be MY GIRL back in the day. The first year I joined Hypnotic Control, a hip-hop dance group, we made a music video to this song. In fact, we danced to quite a few Iggy songs (more than i’d like to admit). This video was our first big project together as a group and it made us a closer as a family. We gained many new followers from this music video we created. It is an experience I will never forget.
