Andela Day 1

Its the first day of the bootcamp 5 and am excited to be back again.

I arrive at the gate and from the list at the gate, i sense that am that am the last to arrive. I am met by the welcoming security man who already knows my name, it kinda feels funny. There is a new Andela fellow who is struggling to find her ID number and this surprises me and am thinking “how don’t you know your ID number. Then i later come to realize she is from another kingdom ( Id number resembles a Serial No). How can you remember that?

The familiar people and surroundings make me feel at home and very much comfortable.

The first thing i notice is the basketball pole which is already down, I proceed to the class and its full to the brim, true to my instinct “am the last to arrive” well, thats what i thought.

At about 9 we go for the morning warm ups and get to learn a new game, its always exciting to start the day in a high note.

We proceed to the class and introduce ourselves and also say a fun fact about ourselves, after the introductions, we discuss on the purpose of the bootcamp and why python is a cool .

At about 1.00 pm, we go for lunch and i get to catch up with the other fellows and find out what they are up to in terms of coding and stuff.

At 2 am we resume class and do some coding examples, time flies so fast and before we know it its 6.00 pm, we break for the day. My head is pounding, Got to go get some Maramoja.
