The Alpinist gives us a glimpse into the life of Marc-André Leclerc, who decided to make his time on earth a unique experience.
By making some of the riskiest ascents in the world of mountaineering, he gives us, through this documentary, a real lesson in life.
A beautiful definition of the words Courage and Folly, and of what a man is capable of achieving when he puts up no barriers.
The images are often magnificent and above all impressive. On the other hand, it’s still a Netflix documentary, with a script that’s sometimes a little predictable, and the testimonies in front of the camera a little stereotyped.
Nonetheless, it’s a tribute to the personality and talent of Marc-André Leclerc. Thank you for this intense and poignant documentary.
