What is “inner health” ?
When we think of health, usually we tend to think of the physical aspect, such as fitness and nutrition. Or, we think of mental health. But the term “mental health” is usually associated with mental illnesses like depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc.
I coined the term “inner health” because it’s how I see health and wellbeing.
I have yet to come up with a short, concise and tidy sentence to summarize it but…
Here is a list of everything that “inner health” is:
- self-care
- self-awareness
- self-assertion
- self-expression
- resilience
- perseverance
- self-confidence and self-esteem
- setting and achieving life goals
- intentional and conscious living
- authenticity
- not being afraid to living your truth despite haters and naysayers
- holistic health: mental, emotional and spiritual
- growth and positive mindset
- happiness
- love
- motivation
- inspiration
…get the idea?

**UPDATE (Sept. 7/16):
“Inner health is holistically one’s mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Having strong inner health means to be successfully self-sufficient from having a developed growth mindset.” — Estephanie J.
