I agree that labels like “racist” and “bigot” have gotten a bit threadbare from overuse these days. But please note I didn’t call any individual a bigot. I referred to certain pieces of legislation as bigoted, which I believe is an important distinction, and it’s a characterization I’m comfortable standing by.
