International Exposure?

If only they knew how even what we call “western culture” is a mixture of different constituents…essentially all borrowed to make their society work. Point is — every great idea is a combination, adaptation and improvement of what has worked elsewhere. So, we need to lose some pride, learn what has worked elsewhere and adapt it to solve some of our problems.

The only idea of “Home grown” that resonates with me is that the solution should be initiated/implemented by a local; someone who OWNS the problem.
